He's gone...
Remember Adam?
We went on a hike together on May 15th..
It was our last little Hoo-Rah!
We hiked up Adam's canyon. Ironic right?
His farewell was on May 27th & I went to it alone because I am so awesome like that.
Actually, it's because I thought I would have friends there
& I did, but most of them ended up going to another farewell right after Adam's so I got to make friends at the Luncheon afterwards.
It was fine.
I like making friends..
Luckily, a few of my acquaintances decided to stay for Adam's luncheon so that I didn't have to be all alone- awkwardly.
I have met his family before and they were very kind and welcoming.
His mom was so sweet to thank me multiple times for coming..
We took this picture as I was saying goodbye to him..
It was taken before I got sad..
I was only sad for a second because I don't know where I will be when he gets home!
I could be married... OR I might be on MY MISSION!
I'd like to be on my mission.
Although I am sad to see my friend leave,
I am so happy for Adam.
He is such an amazing young man and I am so grateful for the time that I was able to spend with him.
I learned so much from him.
I am also grateful for my relationship with him.
We were smart and kept things simple by staying friends--& by only being friends.
That has made him leaving so much easier for us both!
He is going to be such an amazing missionary
The people of Ukraine are so lucky to have him serving there for the next 2 years.
Adam's mom, Kelli, has started a blog for him if one of the three people who read my blog would like to hear how he's doing, even though you probably don't know him! haha. :)
